The malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, situated against the Botswana border, 90 km north of Zeerust and just four hours' drive from both Johannesburg and Pretoria, is now one of South Africa's prime safari destinations. The land consists of open grasslands and bushveld plains with scattered rocky outcrops and single mountains, and offers ideal game viewing opportunities.. Activities offered by Molori Safari are diverse, satisfying your hunger for adventure and your yearning to connect with nature and your inner world. Activities include game drives, wild dog tracking, bush walks, super seven by night, rhino tagging (subject to availability with the Madikwe Conservation committee) and stargazing.

Family Facilities


For children, Molori Safari presents a world of adventure and discovery. Our experienced game rangers are passionate about sharing their knowledge with younger guests (our Junior Rangers) and opening their eyes to a whole new world of creatures both large and small.


Junior Rangers can participate in exciting animal tracking and identification excursions, learn about the Madikwe Reserve’s Super Seven and the importance of conservation, and grow an appreciation for all the small gifts nature has to offer.


Other Junior Ranger activities include pizza making, baking, fishing, games and creative expression.



All suites have floor-to-ceiling retractable glass walls, which fold away completely, connecting each suite’s interior to a private deck and infinity pool. All feature indoor and outdoor showers, as well as free-standing baths, custom furniture, indoor/outdoor dining options, fireplaces, mini-bars, Bose iPod docking stations and air‐conditioning. Both presidential suites follow the indoor/outdoor style of the other suites on a grander scale. Additionally each has a kitchen and dining area, additional guest bathrooms, rim-flow bathtub, a walk-in dressing room, and a library/study.

The spacious two-bedroom Molelo Presidential Suite combines elegance with modern African design elements, and offers a magnificent elevated view across the African landscape.


Retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors make the most of the view and give way to a spacious wooden deck, infinity pool, hot spa bath and alfresco dining area.

Thoughtfully planned to provide maximum privacy, the two bedrooms have been positioned at opposite ends of the suite and each has its own private bathroom.


The Molelo suite also has a study and library area, housing part of a cherished collection of National Geographic magazines dating back to the 1940s.

The split-level Sephiri suite has two bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. It can sleep up to four guests and is ideal for families. The interesting combination of black and white finishes as well as neutral tones offset the stunning contemporary pieces while the retractable floor-to-ceiling glass doors render nature as the backdrop.
